Effective Date: September 11, 2026
Welcome to Oralis. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Oralis platform, including our website and application (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Oralis is a student study-planning platform designed to help users prepare for the Dental Admission Test (DAT). The Service provides features including:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will maintain the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you agree to notify us immediately. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access.
You agree not to:
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Oralis and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
Content you create or upload — such as study plans, flashcards, and calendar events — remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate study content, including practice questions, flashcards, explanations, and tutoring responses. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You acknowledge that:
If you encounter incorrect or problematic AI-generated content, you may report it through the in-app error reporting feature.
Oralis offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that time. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle following notice of the change.
Important: Oralis is a supplemental study tool. Success on the DAT depends on your effort, dedication, and individual aptitude. We make no guarantees about exam performance or outcomes.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oralis disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any AI-generated content is accurate or reliable. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Oralis, its affiliates, or their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Oralis in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, if greater, one hundred dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oralis, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. To request account deletion, email us at info@oralis.io.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and request account deletion.
